| Welcome to April at Strong Girls United 🌸
This past month, we celebrated the strength, resilience, and impact of women and girls across our community and beyond. At Strong Girls United, Women’s History Month is a powerful reminder of why we do this work—to create spaces where girls feel seen, supported, and empowered to dream boldly. It is our mission to do this in all 50 states.
From mentorship moments to community events and everyday wins, we continue to see what’s possible when girls are given the tools, support, and belief they deserve. As we turn the page to April, we carry that momentum forward—continuing to build strong bodies, kind hearts, and unstoppable minds. |

| On April 11, our Founder and Executive Director, Lani Silversides, will be throwing out the first pitch for Little League Opening Day in York, Maine after their 10:00 parade and ceremony!
Just down the street from the field, The Hub will be hosting a very special guest—former MLB player and New York Times bestselling author Micah Johnson—for a book signing of his new release, Aku: Journey to Ibra.
Micah’s story and message align so powerfully with what we teach every day at Strong Girls United: protect your dreams. His work reminds young people that their dreams matter—and that they are worth believing in, even when the path isn’t easy. |
