STRONG GIRLS UNITED TO HOST GLOBAL RACE SUPPORTING GIRLS AND WOMEN JUNE 23, 2024  

Join us June 23, 2024 for the 2nd annual Just A Girl 5k | 10k, a unique and inspiring race at Bug Light State Park in Portland. This event celebrates the anniversary of Title IX and Olympic Day, promoting inclusivity and empowerment. All proceeds will benefit SG United Foundation (“Strong Girls United”), supporting its mission to empower girls and women across the state and globally. There are also opportunities to participate as a virtual runner in support of the cause.

UNH WILDCATS X STRONG GIRLS UNITED

Celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day, UNH teamed up with Strong Girls United for a day of athletics, mentoring, and mindfulness. The event concluded with gymnastics at the Whittemore Center, where UNH swept the four-team competition.

COLLABORATE WITH SGU FOR NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY THIS FEBRUARY!

We are partnering with universities and student-athletes to support a National Girls and Women in Sport Day event on campus. Host a special NGWSD dedication game on campus (i.e. a women's basketball game), or run an event inviting community girls to campus.

SGU ONE OF 11 MASSACHUSETTS ORGANIZATIONS TO RECEIVE A WOMEN'S FOUNDATION OF BOSTON CATALYST GRANT

Strong Girls United is launching a new program in fall of 2023! Next Level FAM will be our first program curated for and delivered to high school student athletes and teams. The curriculum will feature a combination of pre-recorded videos, worksheets and live events on topics including sports nutrition, confidence building, leadership skills, college recruiting, mental health and much, much more. 

ACCOUNTING FIRM WISS AND NON PROFIT SG UNITED FOUNDATION LAUNCH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

Strong Girls United is extremely proud and excited to announce a founding partnership with the accounting firm Wiss. Wiss will be working in concert with Strong Girls United to launch the Strong Girls United Book Club, as well as supporting SGU in its work to empower girls and women. STRONG GIRLS UNITED BOOK CLUB TO LAUNCH FOR 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR

As part of their upcoming SGU Academy, SG United Foundation is launching the Strong Girls United Book Club! Open to ALL interested members and geared toward 5th grade girls through adults, this Book Club will inspire and empower people through community, SGU curriculum, and reading books authored by female athletes!
